A company hires somebody as a junior developer. It is quite common, but not at all easy. The first goal for the junior to become someone who can help with the heavy lifting. It a hard job from the junior, and seniors of the team as well. Through the years we’ve learned a lot how to do this job while we helped more than 500 people to become software developers. In this presentation I show a few best practices how and what to learn as a junior and how to help them in this process as a senior by focusing on soft and hard skills as well.
