Jean-Pierre is Head of IT Services for Societe Generale Global Solution Centre in Romania, also leading the IT stream for Societe Generale’s global solution centres in Romania and India since October 2018.

Throughout his career, Jean-Pierre has worked for various companies – including software and computer manufacturers or vendors, and banks. He joined Societe Generale in 2005, taking care of desktops and user support for Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking entity. Katharina Dankert is a problem solver, with a background in systems engineering and opinions on security.
She works for TW as an infrastructure developer and security expert. She is currently leading platform level security thinking for cloud based infrastructure at a large German manufacturer.
She started work in the tech domain believing that working with computers would mean being able to work less with humans. She has learned sometimes somewhat to her chagrin, that human interactions create more complexity and interesting risks than even the most intricate of technical systems.

Jennifer Parak currently works as a Software Developer at ThoughtWorks. Having started her career working with Microservices in a Java/Spring Boot environment, she recently found herself working with smart ecosystems and developed a great passion for it. She discovered her excitement about Security on writing her Masters thesis where she developed a Convolutional Neural Network to create a POC for Cracking visual captchas. As Security Champion in her team and facilitator of the Security Guild, she is now able to put her passion into practise by advocating for a shift-left Security approach.

Katie is the Ecosystem Technical Advocate at CNCF or Cloud Native Computing Foundation. Katie’s focus within this role is to grow and lead the End User Community while bridging the gap with other ecosystem units, such as project maintainers, TOCs, and SIGs. In the past roles as a cloud platform engineer, Katie has build platforms that gravitate towards cloud-native technologies and principles, with Kubernetes as the focal point. These projects started with the automation of application delivery on OpenStack-based infrastructure, which transitioned into the creation of a centralized, globally distributed platform at Condé Nast and American Express.

Nills Franssens is a technology enthusiast and a specialist in multiple open source technologies. He is the author of the second edition of the “Hands-on Kubernetes on Azure” book. He has been working with public cloud technologies since 2013.
