1. Can you please introduce/describe yourself in a few words?

I’m Alban, I’m 30 years old and I’m coming from French Alps, near to Switzerland. When I was in San Francisco in 2018, working for a consulting company, I realised that Product was the new vital skill in the tech field. That’s why I decided to learn more about this expertise.

2. If you could change something in the world, what would it be?

I dream about a world where people, including myself, won’t have FOMO (fear of missing out) anymore.

3. What inspires you?

Borned in French Alps, I used to hike a lot. I only realised few months ago, how powerful it was to find inspiration and the right balance for your mind and body.

4. What are your hobbies? Could please tell us more about your side projects, such as your online art gallery and MRC?

I’m lucky to have pasionnate friends that want to build smart initiatives.

First, in 2014, I co-founded the MRC Paris with 5 friends, a running community dedicated to share the right energy and experiences with one another in a close-knit group. More than running every week, we also host presentations from visionary speakers and build signature events.

Then, last september, I co-founded emblema with one of my best friend, an online curated fine art galery that provide you the best price, experience & education.

Both side projects are a way to meet new people and boosting my creativity.

5. How did you manage to balance your work life with the personal one in the past year?

That’s not super easy when you have several activities in parallel. I never work on week-ends, I think that’s the key! I have the same pace since I graduated.

6. What future technology excites you the most and what are the tools you use ?

I dug into blockain technology when I was remote in Canarian Islands with a friend that is super passionate about this topic. More than gambling on cryptos, I’m fascinitng about the new internet that people are building. I think we are facing an incredible period: something is happening, but we still don’t know the outputs.

7. A short overview of what you will talk about at DevTalks Reimagined 2021 – the second virtual edition

I’m an idealistic person, convinced that with the right mindset, you can work with anybody, whatever your background, skills or culture. The key is to create around you an influence circle to embark people. That’s why I build the IDEAL framework: a concrete & achievable tool helping product and tech people working together.
