It’s time to meet our big line-up of confirmed Java speakers

 

Jaap Coomans is a Software Architect at GROUP9 with 15 years of experience in Java development in various industries. He’s passionate about the JVM ecosystem and Open Source technology and likes to combine architecture and design with hands-on development.

Nicolas Frankel is a Developer Advocate with 15+ years experience consulting for many different customers, in a wide range of contexts (such as telecoms, banking, insurances, large retail and public sector). Usually working on Java/Java EE and Spring technologies, but with focused interests like Rich Internet Applications, Testing, CI/CD and DevOps. Currently working for Hazelcast.

Jack Shirazi works in the Reliability Engineering team at Expedia Group. He is the founder of JavaPerformanceTuning.com and author of Java Performance Tuning (O’Reilly), and has been an official Java Champion since 2005.

Mark Heckler is a Professional Problem Solver and Spring Developer & Advocate at VMware, conference speaker, published author, & Java Champion focusing upon developing innovative production-ready software at velocity for the Cloud.

Andrei Emil Toader is an experienced Technical Lead Digital Lab at BCR that likes building stuff with the latest technologies from the Java world.

Dan Cristea, Head Of Digital Development Practices at BCR has 15+ years experience in software engineering mainly in banking industry focusing on team management, software development practices and process efficiency, digital agile transformation, vendor management, stakeholder and senior management engagement.

Mircea Duta, Chapter Lead Backend at BCR is an IT enthusiast with 20+ years experience in backend and middleware development in banking industry.

Mala Gupta is a Developer Advocate at JetBrains. She is also the founder and lead mentor at eJavaGuru.com, Java Champion at Oracle, book author with Manning, Packt and O’Reilly Publications.

Dan Nastasa is a Software Engineer inside the Mambu Payment Team that gets to play with microservices, Domain Driven Design, Asynchronous communication patterns, Kubernetes, and many others.

Josh Long (@starbuxman) has (officially) been a Spring developer advocate since 2010. Josh is a Java Champion, author of six books (including Cloud Native Java: Designing Resilient Systems with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Cloud Foundry (O’Reilly Media, 2017) and the upcoming (self-published) Reactive Spring, as well as the creator of numerous best-selling training videos.

Vlad Carcu from Cognizant Softvision has worked as a Java developer for the past 12 years, five of which he spent in various tech lead or team lead positions, managing teams up to five people.

David Delabassee is a Developer Advocate in the Java Platform Group at Oracle. Prior to that, he was involved in Oracle’s Serverless initiatives. David has also been heavily involved in Java EE 8 and its transition to the Eclipse Foundation as part of the Jakarta EE initiative.

Volodymyr Khrushchak from Playtika is a Java Tech Lead with 9 years experience. For the last 5 years I created software solutions for Social Gaming. I believe that reliable software leads to good night sleep not just developers, but customers as well.

Mihai Dragomirescu is a Development Team Lead UnaVista at London Stock Exchange Group; passionate about data, problem solving, via ferrata and ski touring.

Edson Yanaga, Red Hat’s Director of Developer Experience, is a Java Champion and a Microsoft MVP. He is also a published author and a frequent speaker at international conferences, discussing Java, Microservices, Cloud Computing, DevOps, and Software Craftsmanship.

Mihai Ionita from Computaris is a telecom system architect with 16 years of IT experience and over 12 years working on complex complex projects for medium and large telecom operators, from requirement analysis up to support in production systems.

Yehor Maiorov, Senior Java Developer at Playtika has more than 6 years of experience in developing enterprise applications using Java. Mainly works with the Spring, Netflix ecosystem. Passionate about reactive programming, functional programming, and distributed systems architecture.
