There is only one week left in which technology enthusiasts can register for the largest online hackathon organized by Kaufland Romania together with DevTalks. Starting with April 16, for a month, the innovative ideas will take shape, and the teams will develop the best solutions to help improve the lives of people with disabilities in Romania.

Accepting the challenge, but also entering the competition can make one of the participating teams the winner of the grand prize of $16,000, but most importantly the winning team will provide the best solution for the integration of people with disabilities in the Accessibility Hackathon.

The big challenge in the Accessibility Hackathon is to develop a tool to help people with disabilities better integrate into the workplace, and the stages in which team ideas can bring about change are:

• helping people with disabilities in the application process for a job according to their abilities (completing the necessary steps to apply in the simplest way possible)
• facilitating the actual employment process (preparing the necessary documents, completing the documents for occupational medicine, signing the contract)
• contributes to the process of integration into the new job (streamlining communication between people with disabilities and new colleagues with the help of technological resources) – all ideas are expected and appreciated.

Those who will support the teams participating in this journey of good deeds are the hackathon mentors, dedicated people with extensive experience in areas such as Business, Social and Technology. Mentors will be with participants with advice, ideas, encouragement and kind words, so that the final solutions are some with a positive and innovative impact.
