It`s hacking time! DevHacks returns in 2019 to gather our forces to develop smart ideas for a better society and, for the first time, Alice is with us and she tells her story from Cyberland in 24h hackthon.

Help us to pass our mission – to bring together a diverse range of perspectives, from young IT professionals to seniors, from developers to designers and to ignite the flow of ideas between different participants.
At the 5th edition, DevHacks levels up with 9 new challenges created to empower people through technology to solve problems and bring to life the best concepts who can help our daily activities: Women in Tech, Security, Digital Transformation, Future in Banking, Smart City & Smart Car, Robotics, Gaming, Social Impact (Education & Health & Environment), Civic TeenHacks.

On 23&24 November, at Commons Unirii, you will find several types of people that make teams successful at the hackathon: mentors like Eduard Dumitrascu, President of the Romanian Smart City and Mobility Association, Simona Sandru, President and Founder, Global Women in Tech IT Project Director Pentalog, Madalin Dumitru, CEO at Cyber Smart Defence, Silviu-Tudor Serban, Founder of Helios Vision, Alexandra Ciortea, Architect, Data & AI CTO Office at Microsoft and not only and jury formed by investors, media partners & strategic partners and companies.

If you want to be part of this hackthon, you should bring your own laptop / PC and any others electronic you want to use. Don’t worry about food, drinks and coffee! Everything is in our hands. You will have free access during the event to breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Of course, relax is the key to success and DevHacks knows that, so we prepare for you a relax and fun zone.

We encourage coders of any age with Java, JavaScript, C/ C++, Python, Blockchain or Web & Mobile, to join us in teams or individually to come up with their original ideas.
